Research Dental Hygienist – DDUH 

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring a patient cohort attending the Oral Mucosa Dysplasia Clinic at DDUH. The successful candidate will be involved in patient recruitment, measurement of oral hygiene levels and swab sampling of oral tissues.
The successful candidate must:
 Have a Diploma in Dental Hygiene
 Be registered as a Dental Hygienist with the Dental Council
 S/he must also have post qualification experience as a Dental Hygienist
 Be familiar and adept with Microsoft Office (e.g. particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)
 Be highly motivated, self-directed and have an interest in participating in research
 Have good communication and organisational skills
 Have the ability to work in a team
 Have evidence of non-infection with Hepatitis B/ Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B titre level
 Candidates must be available to work on a Thursdays for the first year.
