I’ve been working as a dental nurse for more years than I care to count. This is my third time to be on the committee of the IDNA, over previous times I have been newsletter editor, treasurer, chairperson and the first dental nurse representative on the Auxiliary Workers Committee of the Dental Council of Ireland.
I started my dental nursing in general practice and qualified from the evening course, I also have qualifications in Dental Radiography and Conscious Sedation Dental Nursing.
Presently I am one of the Senior Dental Nurses in the Dublin Dental University Hospital. I am also on the panel of examiners for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses, U.K.
