Decontamination of Reusable Invasive Medical Devices – Providing Quality for Safe Patient Treatment

The Dublin Dental University Hospital are delighted to host a Continuing Professional Development day on the 21^st of May 2022. Please find programme attached with details of the schedule for our CPD day.

The theme of this study day is Decontamination of Reusable Invasive Medical Devices – Providing Quality for Safe Patient Treatment.The aim of this study day is to focus on theDecontamination of Reusable Invasive Medical Devices (RIMD).

We will deliver lectures on IPC guidance, decontamination equipment, and the challenging cleaning/sterilisation methods of difficult RIMD. Additionally, we will deliver workshops on the differences between the Central Decontamination Unit & LDU Decontamination.  

The study day will run from 9.00am -15.30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain knowledge on decontamination of reusable medical devices.
